ØNo other worker is in the vicinity?

ØCorrect personal protective equipment is worn during use?
If using ABRASIVE WHEELS, check:
ØThe has been service and is in good condition?
ØThe correct abrasive wheel is used for work in hand?
ØLocal dust extraction is available if possible

ØThe wheels securely fastened?
When using VIBRATING tools, check:
ØFor information and training about the risks from hand-
arm vibration (HAV) on-site, and what to do to avoid these risks?

wherever possible?
