How Do Electronic Thermostats Work In HVAC System?

What Are Electronic Thermostats and How Do They Work In HVAC Systems?

A communicating electronic thermostat in an HVAC system is a device that can measure temperature and send out the result of the measurement; this means a thermostat basically switches the heating system on and off accordingly.

It detects by sensing the air temperature, switches on when the heating of air temperature falls below the thermostat setting, and switches off when the set temperature has reached.

This is typically found in larger buildings as a means of regulating the central heating/cooling system, per room or per area.

By spinning a room thermostat to a higher setting will not build the heat in the room.

How speedily the room heats up depends on the design of the heating system. For example, the size of a boiler and radiators.

Rotating a room thermostat to a lower setting will result, in the room can be controlled at a lower temperature and saving energy.

The heating system doesn’t work if the time switch or programmer switch is off.

1: ELECTRONIC THERMOSTAT: T901

The T901 series proportional thermostats are microcomputer based, proportional and integral (PI) devices with one contact time proportioning output. They can be used with most relays and actuators that are compatible with on/off control signals. The thermostats also contain two dip switch to adjust the parameters :

2: ELECTRONIC THERMOSTAT: T920

The T920 series thermostats are microcomputer-based, proportional and integral (PI) devices with one analog 0 to 10 Vdc output. They can be used with most controlled devices in the HVAC industry that are compatible with this signal. A typical application would be to control an analog VAV or valve actuator. The thermostats also contain three dip switch to adjust the parameters :

3: ELECTRONIC THERMOSTAT: T921

The T921 series thermostats are microcomputer-based, proportional and integral (PI) devices with one analog 0 to 10 Vdc output & one contact output. They can be used with most controlled devices in the HVAC industry that are compatible with those signals A typical applications would be to control an analog actuator on a VAV box with an electric duct heater reheat stage. The thermostats also contain four dip switch to adjust the parameters :

4: ELECTRONIC THERMOSTAT: T926

The T926 series thermostats are microcomputer-based, proportional and integral (PI) devices with two analog 0 to 10 Vdc outputs. They can be used with most controlled devices in the HVAC industry that are compatible with those signals. A typical applications would be to control an analog actuator on a VAV box with an electric duct heater with an SCR power control. The thermostats also contain 4 dip switch which adjust the parameters :

5: ELECTRONIC THERMOSTAT: T950

The T950 series thermostats are microcomputer-based, proportional and integral (PI) devices with one floating (incremental) output. It can be used with most controlled devices in the HVAC industry that are compatible with this signal. A typical applications would be to control a floating VAV or valve actuator. The thermostats also contain three dip switch adjust the parameters :

6: ELECTRONIC THERMOSTAT: T951

The T951 series thermostats are microcomputer-based, proportional and integral (PI) devices with one floating (incremental) output & one contact output. It can be used with most controlled devices in the HVAC industry that are compatible with those signals. A typical application would be to control a floating actuator on a VAV box with an electric duct heater reheat stage. The thermostats also contain five dip switch to adjust the parameters :
